Odor memory stability after reinnervation of the olfactory bulb.
Eduardo Blanco-Hernández,Pablo Valle-Leija,Viviana Zomosa-Signoret,René Drucker-Colín,Román Vidaltamayo +4 more
TL;DR: The results show that 45 days after methimazole-induced lesion, axonal projections to the bulb of M72 and I7 populations are largely reestablished and regenerated glomeruli are re-formed within the same areas as those of control, unexposed mice.
Synthesization, Characterization, and in Vitro Evaluation of Cytotoxicity of Biomaterials Based on Halloysite Nanotubes
Antonio Sánchez-Fernández,Laura Peña-Parás,Román Vidaltamayo,Rodrigo Cué-Sampedro,Ana Mendoza-Martínez,Viviana Zomosa-Signoret,Ana María Rivas-Estilla,Paulina Riojas +7 more
TL;DR: Prior to functionalization, halloysite clay nanotubes show a high biocompatibility and low cytotoxicity, however, HNTs functionalized with EOS and TMPS showed high cytot toxicity by inducing apoptosis, which allows the identification of potential applications in biomedical areas for H NTs.
Aspects of the narcolepsy-cataplexy syndrome in O/E3-null mutant mice.
A.K. De la Herrán-Arita,Viviana Zomosa-Signoret,Diana Millán-Aldaco,Marcela Palomero-Rivero,Magdalena Guerra-Crespo,René Drucker-Colín,Román Vidaltamayo +6 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that O/E3 plays a central role during the establishment of a functional orexinergic circuit by controlling the expression of essential hypothalamic neurotransmitter and the correct development of the nerve fibers arising from the hypothalamus.

Evaluation of the Expression of Genes Associated with Inflammation and Apoptosis in Androgenetic Alopecia by Targeted RNA-Seq.
Lizeth Martínez-Jacobo,Lizeth Martínez-Jacobo,Claudia I Ancer-Arellano,Rocio Ortiz-Lopez,Mauricio Salinas-Santander,Cesar Daniel Villarreal-Villarreal,Jesús Ancer-Rodríguez,Bianka Dianey Camacho-Zamora,Viviana Zomosa-Signoret,Carlos E. Medina-De la Garza,Jorge Ocampo-Candiani,Augusto Rojas-Martinez +11 more
- 07 Dec 2017
TL;DR: Overexpression of these genes detected only at early stages of AGA proves the role of WNT pathway, apoptosis, and inflammation in the development of this disorder.
Sialylated and O-glycosidically linked glycans in prion protein deposits in a case of Gerstmann-Sträussler-Scheinker disease
Viviana Zomosa-Signoret,Miguel Ángel Mayoral,Daniel Limon,Blanca Espinosa,Minerva Calvillo,Edgar Zenteno,Victor Martínez,Jorge Guevara +7 more
TL;DR: Results show that specific modifications in the glycosylation pattern are closely related to the hallmark lesions and might be an early event in neuronal degeneration in GSS disease.
