TL;DR: Intravitreal bevacizumab must be used with caution in patients with chronic, persistent diabetic macular edema because disruption of the fragile fine foveal network of capillaries with induction of macular ischemia may result following treatment even if there are no pre-existing defects in the FAZ.

TL;DR: A retrospective review of the clinical and radiographic data of twenty-four consecutive patients who had tuberculosis of the posterior spinal elements with total sparing of the vertebral bodies and intervertebral disc space showed an atypical picture of spinal tuberculosis that showed a high rate of neurological deficit at the time of initial presentation for medical care.
