Micellar structural transitions and therapeutic properties in tea tree oil solubilized pluronic P123 solution
TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that solubilization of tea tree essential oil (TTO) brings about spherical-to-worm like micelles-tovesicular structural transitions in aqueous solutions of Pluronic P123.

Thermal and scattering studies of Tetronic® 1304 micelles in the presence of industrially important glycols, their oligomers, cellosolves, carbitols, ethers and esters
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of different glycol additives on the phase behavior and micellar characteristics of a moderately hydrophobic EO-propylene oxide (EO-PO) star block copolymer Tetronic ® 1304 (hereafter written as T1304) has been investigated by cloud point (CP), viscosity, high sensitivity differential scanning calorimetry (HSDSC), dynamic light scattering (DLS) and small angle neutron scattering (SANS).

Impact of Aromatic Counter-Ions Charge Delocalization on the Micellization Behavior of Surface-Active Ionic Liquids.
TL;DR: The role of charge delocalization of two different aromatic counter-ions on the micellization behavior of their respective SAILs in aqueous medium is reported and interfacial properties obtained by using tensiometry reveals better surface-activity and absorption efficiency of [C14mim][BZ] as compared to [C 14mim];[PO].

Influence of urea on single and mixed micellar systems of Tetronics
Sadafara A. Pillai,Chin-Fen Lee,Debes Ray,Vinod K. Aswal,Mu-Rong Wang,Li-Jen Chen,Pratap Bahadur +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report micellar and micellization characteristics of single and mixed Tetronics® altered by the presence of urea using high sensitivity differential scanning calorimetry (HSDSC) and small angle neutron scattering (SANS).

Cationic Micelles Modulated in the Presence of α,ω-Alkanediols: A SANS, NMR and Conductometric Study
TL;DR: In this paper, the solution behavior of a typical cationic surfactant, tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide, in mixed solvent systems composed of water and varying concentrations of α,ω-alkanediols, was examined via electrical conductance measurements, 13C-NMR spectroscopy and small angle neutron scattering (SANS) measurements.
