Interactions in globular proteins with polyampholyte: coacervation route for protein separation
TL;DR: It is clearly established that selective coacervation at pI can be used as a method for protein separation.

Effect of urea on the aggregation behavior of gemini surfactants and their mixed micelles with Pluronic L64
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of urea on the perturbation of the molecular assembly of gemini surfactants viz. 12-2-12, 14-2 -14, 16-2 −16 and their mixed micelles with Pluronic L64 has been investigated using various experimental techniques, namely, surface tension, conductivity, small angle neutron scattering (SANS), dynamic light scattering (DLS), and cloud point measurements.

Micellar behavior of mixtures of sodium dodecyl sulfate and dodecyldimethylamine oxide in aqueous solutions
Dharmesh Varade,Tejas Joshi,Vinod K. Aswal,Prem S. Goyal,Puthusserickal A. Hassan,Pratap Bahadur +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a large negative interaction parameter, β, using Rubing's theory for above mixed system was estimated, which is consistent with the concept that nonidealities of mixing in micelles of oppositely charged mixed surfactant systems are primarily of electrostatic origin with specific interactions.

Nanoparticle Controlled Self-Assembly in Varying Chain Extended Polyurethanes as Potential Nanobiomaterials
TL;DR: In this article, the role of hydrogen bonding has been uncovered for this type of supramolecular assembly which further aggravated in presence of organically modified nanoclay by maki...

Preparation and characterization of new poly(dimethylsiloxane) membrane series via a ‘cross-linking’ reaction using monomolecular trichloro(alkyl)silane of different alkyl chain and type
TL;DR: In this article, a new PDMS membrane series prepared by direct cross-linking hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane pre-polymer liquid with RSiCl3 molecules of different types in n-heptane solvent under a nitrogen environment were studied, wherein the alkyl chain, R, was varied as methyl CH3, octyl C8H17, perfluorooctyl C 8H4F13, and octadecyl C18H37.
