Effect of polar molecular organic solvents on non-aqueous solvent extraction of rare-earth elements
TL;DR: In this paper , the extraction and separation of five different rare-earth elements, La, Nd, Eu, Dy and Yb, from an aqueous chloride solution and from different chloride non-aqueous solutions using the solvating extractant Cyanex 923 was investigated.

Separation of cobalt and nickel from ethylene glycol and glycerol feed solution in chloride media by non-aqueous solvent extraction with Cyphos IL 101
TL;DR: A non-aqueous solvent extraction process using Cyphos IL 101 separates cobalt and nickel from ethylene glycol and glycerol feeds with high extraction percentages (>80%) and separation factors (>40,000), achieving efficient cobalt-nickel separation in chloride media.
