TL;DR: The authors have utilized different techniques like wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence; fourier transforms infrared and ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy along with optical microscopy in plant science to study healthy and infected plant samples and observed the decreasing content of starch and increased level of protein contents in root-knot infested roots as compared with healthy roots.

TL;DR: It is concluded that the chemometric method, that is, principal component analysis provides better discrimination power as compared to visual examination, however, destructive and nondestructive approaches give almost similar discriminating power.

TL;DR: In this paper, the nanopowders of LiSrVO4:Tb3+ phosphors with varying Tb3 + concentration were prepared using the combustion route and the single phase monoclinic structure with space group P12/m and crystalline nature of the powders were confirmed by the powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique.
