Hemispheric asymmetry, personality and temperament
TL;DR: In this paper, the Eysenck personality questionnaire and 40-Hz EEG responses from 60 women during an easy and a difficult stimulus detection task were used to identify personality and temperamental dimensions.

Temporal aspects of hypnotic processes.
TL;DR: The authors report that the influence of hypnosis is less on the EEG components associated with the initial sensory experience itself and more on the later components that carry with them rich cognitive/emotional information.

Effects of Prehypnotic Instructions on Hypnotizability and Relationships Between Hypnotizability, Absorption, and Empathy
TL;DR: The clinical relevance of metasuggestions, intended to increase responsiveness to suggestions, is discussed as a strategy to improve treatment outcomes and strong correlations between the SHSS:C, HIP-H-IND, and HIP eye-roll scores indicate that both the HIP- H-IND and HIP-ER are robust measures of hypnotizability.

Pain-reduction strategies in hypnotic context and hypnosis: ERPs and SCRs during a secondary auditory task
TL;DR: Focused analgesia produced the most pain reduction in high, but not medium or low, hypnotizable subjects who showed shorter reaction times, higher central and parietal P300 peaks, and higher skin conductance responses.

Extraversion, neuroticism and individual differences in event-related potentials
TL;DR: In this article, event-related potentials in response to task-irrelevant tone pips were elicited during meaningful and meaningless speech passages for two groups of subjects selected on the basis of their scores on the extraversion-introversion scale of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire.
