This paper presents a current literature review (from the years 2017–2022) on issues related to the application of power system stabilizers (PSSs) for damping electromechanical swings in power systems (PSs). After the initial selection of papers found in the databases used, over 600 publications were qualified for this review, of which 216 were subjected to detailed analysis. In the review, issues related to the following problems are described: applications of classic PSSs, applications of new stabilizer structures based on new algorithms (including artificial intelligence), development of new methods for tuning PSSs, and operation of PSSs in PSs with high power generation by renewable sources. Describing individual papers, the research methods used by the authors (simulations, measurement methods, and a combination of both) are specified, attention is paid to the waveforms presented in the papers, and reference is made to the types of PSs in which PSSs (large multimachine, reflecting real systems, smaller standard multimachine New-England type, and simplest single-machine) operate. The tables contain detailed comments on the selected papers. The final part of the review presents general comments on the analyzed papers and guidelines for future PS stability studies.

Power generation from solar PV sources is increasing exponentially due to increased requirement of green energy. The penetration of renewable energy sources like solar Photo Voltaic (PV) and wind energy is increasing. In this study, electrical power is generate from solar energy using solar photovoltaic cell. The system is designed of PV module with associated with MPPT control DC/DC boost converters with load and connected with power grid by using 3-Φ inverter (DC-AC converter). Various control techniques are adopted to make the output suitable for controlling the converter. The Perturb & Observe (P&O) method used for the MPPT with boost converter. The PI control technique with and without Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) are utilized with inverter (DC/AC converter) to observe various output response and analysis of total harmonics distortion in ac output current at grid side. This study presents comparison between the PI control technique with and without Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) are utilized with inverter (DC/AC converter) to observe various output response and analysis of total harmonics distortion in ac output current at grid side for grid connected Solar PV system which provides a convenient choice of right technique for system.

Design And Implementation Inteligent Inverter For Grid Connected PV System

Due to the harsh working environment and various types of faults in mine hoists, the implementation of conventional detection is relatively difficult. In order to improve the maintenance and fault detection efficiency of mine hoist, a portable vibration detection system is designed and applied in this paper, which can judge the type and characteristics of mechanical faults according to the different responses of vibration signals. According to the test conditions of the vibration system, the overall structure and functional composition of the hardware system are established. The key functional modules are designed, including signal conditioning module, main control module, vibration sensor and power management module. The main reasons that affect and produce the hoist fault and mechanical vibration are analyzed. The wavelet packet analysis method is proposed to realize the decomposition of low frequency and high frequency signals to improve the signal resolution of the whole frequency band in the frequency domain. The vibration test system has the function of real-time data transmission and control. The realization methods include WiFi and reserved RS485 communication interface, which can match the communication rate with the data sampling rate. The amplifying circuit of the electric signal is designed to effectively ensure that the output voltage of the charge amplifier is within the input range of the amplified ADC value. In order to verify the working effect of the system, the most common gearbox and bearing failures are taken as examples. The response signals of vibration test and diagnosis can be effectively obtained, and the fault types and characteristics can be accurately judged. Through confusion matrix analysis, the reliability of the system detection index is effectively verified. The research results show that the data of the vibration detection system is stable and reliable, and can achieve good troubleshooting effect. It also can be known that different fault types can excite different vibration responses, especially at resonance frequencies. According to the verification, the data of the vibration detection system is stable and reliable, and can achieve good troubleshooting effect.

Finally, a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) is established to solve the sideband shrinkage problem caused by speed change and used to construct the mapping relationship between CGLF and category labels. In the experiment, bearing fault experimental platform dataset is used for the algorithm verification, and the final recognition rate is 98.3%. It proves that the method can effectively achieve bearing fault diagnosis at different speeds.
