The effect of channel and time-slot assignment algorithms on data loss events in OFDM/TDMA multi-hop wireless networks
Vida Ferdowsi,K. Mitchell +1 more
- 21 Apr 2010
TL;DR: A new algorithm is proposed to allocate channels and time-slots so as to decrease data loss in multi-hop wireless networks where all nodes have a single-radio antenna, the MAC layer protocol is synchronized OFDM, and each channel uses TDMA.

A time-slot and channel assignment algorithm in OFDM/TDMA wireless mesh networks
Vida Ferdowsi,K. Mitchell +1 more
- 12 Apr 2012
TL;DR: A scheduling algorithm that assigns both time slots and channels to wireless transmission links in a conflict free manner is introduced and an algorithm that finds the maximum independent set of the graphs is proposed for the purpose of maximizing the total throughput of the network.

A distributed collision-free time slot and channel assignment algorithm for OFDM/TDMA wireless relay networks
Vida Ferdowsi,K. Mitchell +1 more
- 13 Apr 2011
TL;DR: A distributed scheduling algorithm is introduced that assigns both time slots and channels to wireless transmission links in a conflict free manner and can incorporate the effects of changes in topology and routing.
