Patent
Process and installation for recovery and purification of ethylene produced by pyrolysis of hydrocarbons, and gases obtained by this process
Victor Kaiser,Jean-Paul Laugier,Yvon Simon +2 more
- 04 Dec 2001
TL;DR: In this article, a process for the high-yield recovery of ethylene and heavier hydrocarbons from the gas produced by pyrolysis of polyethylene is described, in which liquid products resulting from the fractionated condensation of a cracking gas for the recovery of almost all the ethylene, are supplied to a distillation column, called a de-ethanizer, at different intermediate levels.

Process and installation for recovering and purifying of ethylen produced by hydrocarbon pyrolysis
Victor Kaiser,Jean-Paul Laugier,Yvon Simon +2 more
- 29 Nov 2001
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a process for the recovery of high-yield ethylene and heavier hydrocarbons from the gas produced by pyrolysis of hydro-carbons, where the effluent containing virtually no longer acetylene being separated by a distillation column (C1) is treated directly in a reactor of hydrogenation of acetylene (R1) and the overhead product is recycled by compression or treated for further recovery of ethylene.

Patent
Recovery of ethylene and heavier hydrocarbons, from gas formed by pyrolysis of hydrocarbons, involves progressive condensation of gases and use of de-ethanizer and de-methanizer
Victor Kaiser,Jean-Paul Laugier,Yvon Simon +2 more
- 07 Dec 2000
TL;DR: In this paper, a process for the fractionation of an anhydrous gas from hydrocarbons pyrolysis containing H2 and 1 - 3C hydro-carbons, including ethylene, propylene and acetylene, was described.
