Changes in microstructural, thermal, and rheological properties of olive oil/monoglyceride networks during storage
Nelson K.O. Ojijo,Nelson K.O. Ojijo,Ellina Kesselman,Vered Shuster,Sigal Eichler,Shaul Eger,Ishak Neeman,Eyal Shimoni +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of storage at 25 C on microstructural, thermal, and rheological characteristics of olive oil/monoglyceride (MG) gel networks were studied.

The influence of clozapine treatment and other antipsychotics on the 18 kDa translocator protein, formerly named the peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptor, and steroid production.
Lena Danovich,Leo Veenman,Svetlana Leschiner,Michal Lahav,Vered Shuster,Abraham Weizman,Abraham Weizman,Moshe Gavish +7 more
TL;DR: TSPO may be involved in the modulation of steroidogenesis by clozapine, and induced significant increases in TSPO binding in brain and peripheral steroidogenic tissues, whereas the other antipsychotics did not show such pronounced effects.

Isolation, cloning and characterization of a tyrosinase with improved activity in organic solvents from Bacillus megaterium
Vered Shuster,Ayelet Fishman +1 more
TL;DR: This newly isolated and characterized tyrosinase may have potential applications in organic synthesis due to its high activity and stability at typically denaturing conditions.
