This paper presents a systematic literature review (SLR) of the current knowledge about Lean Supply Chain Management (LSCM) and performance relationships. The purpose is to identify the studied aspects set and to propose a novel classification of the literature on LSCM and performance relationships and to discuss the conceptual and empirical evidence that identifies existing interrelationships. The analysis has enabled two research lines to be addressed: (a) LSCM performance-based models, and (b) LSCM’s impact on performance. These findings allow us to identify gaps in the literature and to determine directions for future research.

Leagility is a combination of lean and agile concepts by responding quickly to the current demand for a variety of services by eliminating waste in the entire process. Leagility in health care is being adopted to address challenges such as high demand, technological advancement, a changing consumer climate and customer requirements. Leagility assessment plays a vital role in the healthcare sector in the implementation of leagility in healthcare organizations. Thus, the purpose of the current study is to evaluate the performance of the leagility in the dispensary. The research identifies university dispensary as a case in point of vying for review using a multi-grade fuzzy approach. The importance-performance analysis (IPA) is used to determine the crucial attributes that the management of the dispensary needs to address. In the case of a university dispensary, the leagility index is calculated as 6.7747, which is between ranges (6–8) specifying as “leagile.” Improving technology upgrades, sharing management decisions, sound automation training and electronic records are needed. Furthermore, the model can be used on a periodic basis to help manage the improvement process.

Many authors have highlighted gaps at the interfaces between supply chains (SCs) and demand chains. A decision support system for optimising the order fulfilment process

Many authors have highlighted the gap between the supply side and the demand side of the order fulfilment process. Generally, the latter tends primarily to be “agile” by maximising responsiveness and flexibility while the former tends to be “lean” by maximising efficiency. However, the most fundamental trade-offs in supply chain management are between these two properties. This is the “leagile” objective. In stock-out situation, the delivery options that would minimize the customers’ dissatisfaction while reconciling the conflicting objectives of the different actors of the supply network must be defined. Today, no particular method seems to allow managing bulk within this leagile ambition. This paper proposes a non-sequential Advanced Available-to-promise model to tackle this question. The model is applied to a numerical example and the results obtained are used to illustrate the most representative delivery strategies.

Advanced Available-To-Promise for Order Management in Stock-out Situation

Les entreprises et plus particulierement les groupements d'entreprises se doivent aujourd'hui de maitriser l'information, sous toutes ses formes. Pourtant, force est de constater que les flux d'information semblent etre bien peu controles comparativement aux flux physiques et financiers, auxquels de nombreux indicateurs de performance sont associes. L'objet de cette communication est de discuter de cette problematique afin de proposer une premiere reflexion autour de l'analyse de la performance des processus qui produisent, utilisent ou gerent des flux d'information. Un bref etat de l'art sur les notions d'evaluation de la performance et de caracterisation des flux d'information, nous permet de proposer un referentiel pour l'analyse de la performance des processus manipulant de tels flux. Ainsi, cinq dimensions sont declinees tant pour permettre l'analyse de la performance de chaque activite du processus que pour evaluer la faisabilite et l'impact de celuici. Nous appliquons ensuite cette proposition au cas d'un processus de " gestion des contacts clients " d'une entreprise de medication familiale.

Customers are more and more demanding regarding
firms’ services or products. In today’s highly competitive
business environment, they need to go beyond order
qualifiers such as price, delivery lead time and product
quality, to develop order winners that are related to
customer service. This can be achieved by developing and
monitoring the performance of the "Customer and
Commercial Logistics (C2L)" processes. C2L includes all
the processes involved in managing customer
relationships and flow of orders. We focus on the Order
Management activity, which probably constitutes the
main component of C2L. The first part of this paper will
discuss it and present the issue of its integration in the
Order Fulfilment Process (OFP). In order to enhance the
accuracy of order promising and the reliability of order
fulfilment, the advanced ATP (AATP) function has
increasingly attracted the attention of the supply chain
management research community. The interaction
between entities is crucial to the success of the OFP. The
aim of this paper is to present a methodology, based on
existing research, to manage bulk orders. This preliminary
research should lead to the development of a specific
AATP based on a multi-criteria analysis.
