Mutation of the Cell Cycle Regulator p27kip1 Drives Pseudohypoxic Pheochromocytoma Development.
Hermine Mohr,S. Ballke,Nicole Bechmann,Sebastian Gulde,Jaber Malekzadeh-Najafabadi,Mirko Peitzsch,Vasilis Ntziachristos,Katja Steiger,Tobias Wiedemann,Natalia S Pellegata +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a rat MENX line, carrying a Cdkn1b (p27) frameshift-mutation, spontaneously develops pseudohypoxic pheochromocytoma (p-PCC).
Optoacoustic imaging in endocrinology and metabolism.
TL;DR: Optoacoustic imaging is emerging as a method for visualizing endocrine physiology and disease at different scales of detail: microscopic, mesoscopic, and macroscopic.
Unmixing chromophores in human skin with a 3D multispectral optoacoustic mesoscopy system
TL;DR: In this paper, a multispectral raster-scan optoacoustic mesoscopy (MSOM) system was used to estimate the absorption spectra of melanin, oxyhemoglobin, and deoxyhemoglobin.

Raster-scan optoacoustic mesoscopy in the 25-125 MHz range
TL;DR: A raster-scan acoustic resolution broadband optoacoustic mesoscopy system achieves 7 μm axial resolution and transverse resolution of 30 μm reaching depths of at least 5 mm, achieved by operating at out-of-focus ultrasonic detection and tomographic reconstruction.
