Adenylate kinase 2 expression and addiction in T-ALL.
Nabih Maslah,Nabih Maslah,Nabih Maslah,Mehdi Latiri,Mehdi Latiri,Vahid Asnafi,Vahid Asnafi,Mélanie Féroul,Mélanie Féroul,Nawel Bedjaoui,Nawel Bedjaoui,Thomas Steimle,Thomas Steimle,Emmanuelle Six,Els Verhoyen,Els Verhoyen,Elizabeth Macintyre,Elizabeth Macintyre,Chantal Lagresle-Peyrou,Ludovic Lhermitte,Ludovic Lhermitte,Guillaume P. Andrieu,Guillaume P. Andrieu +22 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that AK2 is constitutively expressed in T-ALL to varying levels, irrespective of the stage of maturation arrest or the underlying oncogenetic features.

C/EBPA methylation is common in T-ALL but not in M0 AML
Louis Terriou,Raouf Ben Abdelali,Christophe Roumier,Ludovic Lhermitte,John De Vos,Pascale Cornillet,Olivier Nibourel,Kheira Beldjord,Hervé Dombret,Guy Leverger,Vahid Asnafi,Claude Preudhomme,Elizabeth Macintyre +12 more
TL;DR: The CCAAT/enhancer binding protein α (C/EBPA) is a stage-specific transcription factor that controls proliferation and differentiation toward a myeloid and against a T-lymphoid fate.

Preclinical efficacy of humanized, non–FcγR-binding anti-CD3 antibodies in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Christine Tran Quang,Benedetta Zaniboni,Romain Humeau,Etienne Lengliné,Marie Emilie Dourthe,Rajkumar Ganesan,Sanjaya Singh,Justin Scheer,Vahid Asnafi,Jacques Ghysdael +9 more
TL;DR: It is reported here that humanized, non-FcgR binding monoclonal antibodies to CD3 have anti-leukemic properties in xenograft (PDX) models of CD3+ T-ALL, resulting in prolonged host survival and it is reported that these antibodies cooperate with chemotherapy to enhance anti-Leukemic effects and host survival.

CBF beta-SMMHC regulates ribosomal gene transcription and alters ribosome biogenesis
Gaëlle Cordonnier,Gaëlle Cordonnier,Amit Mandoli,A Radhouane,Guillaume Hypolite,Guillaume Hypolite,Ludovic Lhermitte,Ludovic Lhermitte,Mohamed Belhocine,Vahid Asnafi,Vahid Asnafi,Elisabeth Macintyre,Elisabeth Macintyre,Joost H.A. Martens,S Fumagalli,Jonathan Bond,Jonathan Bond +16 more
TL;DR: The core-binding factor complex is a heterodimeric transcription factor comprising a CBFβ subunit and a variable DNA-binding RUNX subunit, usually RUNX1 in hematopoietic cells that regulates the expression of ribosomal protein genes and ribosome RNA in a cell context-dependent manner.

Minimal Residual Disease At 3 Months, Combined to the Presence of IKZF1 Deletion in B-Lineage or Absence of NOTCH1 pathway Mutation in T-Lineage, Recapitulates the Disease Risk Assessment in Adults with Philadelphia Chromosome-Negative Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia - A GRAALL Study
Kheira Beldjord,Elizabeth Macintyre,Véronique Lhéritier,Marie-Laure Boulland,Thibaut Leguay,Xavier Thomas,Jean-Michel Cayuela,Nathalie Grardel,Yves Chalandon,Nicolas Boissel,Beat W. Schäfer,Hélène Cavé,Patrice Chevallier,Agnès Buzyn,Thierry Fest,Vahid Asnafi,Oumedaly Reman,Marie-Christine Béné,Françoise Huguet,Sylvie Chevret,Norbert Ifrah,Hervé Dombret +21 more
TL;DR: The MRD significance was reassessed according to these newly described oncogenic markers, and a much simpler yet more powerful stratification of disease risk in both BCP- ALL and T-ALL subsets was redefined.
