Increasing the coherence time of single electron spins in diamond by high temperature annealing
Boris Naydenov,Friedemann Reinhard,Anke Lämmle,V. Richter,Rafi Kalish,Ulrika F. S. D'Haenens-Johansson,Mark E. Newton,Fedor Jelezko,Jörg Wrachtrup +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a method to increase the spin coherence time of negatively charged nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond by annealing the sample at $t=1200 √ c is presented.

Enhanced generation of single optically active spins in diamond by ion implantation.
Boris Naydenov,V. Richter,J. Beck,Matthias Steiner,Philipp Neumann,Gopalakrishnan Balasubramanian,Jocelyn Achard,Fedor Jelezko,Jörg Wrachtrup,Rafi Kalish +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a two-step implantation process which includes low dose N2+ molecular ion implantations followed by high dose C implantation can increase the generation efficiency of nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers by over 50%.

Increasing the coherence time of single electron spins in diamond by high temperature annealing
Boris Naydenov,Friedemann Reinhard,Anke Lämmle,V. Richter,Rafi Kalish,Ulrika F. S. D'Haenens-Johansson,Mark E. Newton,Fedor Jelezko,Jörg Wrachtrup +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors observed that NVs created from nitrogen ion implantation at 30-300 keV show much shorter electron spin coherence time T2 as compared to the natural NVs and about 20% of them show switching from NV− to NV0.
103
Diamond processing by focused ion beam—surface damage and recovery
TL;DR: In this paper, the FIB processing effect on single crystal diamond surfaces and their photonic properties is studied by time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry and photoluminescence.

Diffusion of hydrogen in undoped, p-type and n-type doped diamonds
C. Saguy,C. Cytermann,B. Fizgeer,V. Richter,Y. Avigal,N Moriya,Rafi Kalish,B Mathieu,Alain Deneuville +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a review of previous results of studies investigating different aspects of the diffusion of hydrogen (deuterium) in various kinds of diamonds is presented. But the authors do not consider the effect of ion implantation related defects on deuterium diffusion.
