A wire calorimeter for the SPIDER beam: Experimental tests and feasibility study
Roberto Pasqualotto,G. Serianni,I. Mario,Pierluigi Veltri,M. Zanini,V. Cervaro,D. Fasolo +6 more
- 08 Apr 2015
TL;DR: In this paper, a description of an experimental investigation of the behavior of tungsten wires under high heat loads in vacuum is given, and the expected behavior of Tungsten with the two-dimensional beam profile in SPIDER is numerically addressed.

CRISP : a compact RF ion source prototype for emittance scanner testing
C. Poggi,Emanuele Sartori,M. Zuin,M. Brombin,V. Cervaro,M. Fadone,Alessandro Fassina,M. Fincato,B. Segalini,Gianluigi Serianni +9 more
TL;DR: The characterization of the ion source and its first operation are presented, showing that it is suitable for the commissioning of the Allison scanner.

Development and characterization of thermal helium beam diagnostic with four helium lines for RFX-mod2 experiment.
TL;DR: The original THB diagnostic of the RFX-mod experiment has been upgraded, setting up the fourth line intensity acquisition, and the old multichannel photomultiplier detectors are replaced with the new Multi-Pixel Photon Counter (MPPC).
