Successful thrombolysis of right atrial and ventricle thrombi encircling a temporary pacemaker lead in a patient with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia type II.
TL;DR: The case of a 67‐year‐old patient who required a temporary transfemoral pacemaker due to AV block grade III, who developed extensive right atrial and ventricle thrombus formation attached to the pacing wire, as well as venous thrombosis at the insertion site due to heparin‐inducedThrombocytopenia type II.
Noninvasive home telemonitoring for patients with heart failure at high risk of recurrent admission and death: the Trans-European Network-Home-Care Management System (TEN-HMS) study.
John G.F. Cleland,Amala A. Louis,Alan S. Rigby,Uwe Janssens,Aggie H.M.M. Balk,Ten-Hms Investigators +5 more
TL;DR: Whether home telemonitoring (HTM) improves outcomes compared with nurse telephone support and usual care for patients with heart failure who are at high risk of hospitalization or death is sought.

TL;DR: The neurogenic shock is a distri-butive shock induced by generalized and extensive vasodilatation with consecutive hypovolaemia due to an imbalance of sympathetic and parasympathetic regulation of vascular smooth muscles.
Successful thrombolysis of right atrial and ventricle thrombi in a patient with peripartum cardiomyopathy and extensive thromboembolism.
TL;DR: Right sided deep vein thrombosis evolved three days after left heart catheterisation in a 27 year old woman with severe peripartum cardiomyopathy and acute orthopnoea four days later with severe hypotension and tachycardia necessitating mechanical ventilation was highly suggestive of massive pulmonary embolism.
