Surface-Engineered Extracellular Vesicles in Cancer Immunotherapy
Vinith Johnson,U. S. Kumar +1 more
TL;DR: A review of surface-engineered extracellular vesicles and their application in immunomodulating tumor microenvironments for cancer immunotherapy can be found in this article , where the authors discuss the recent progress in these approaches with respect to their rational implications.
FN3 linked nanobubbles as a targeted contrast agent for US imaging of cancer-associated human PD-L1.
TL;DR: In this article , ultra-stable nanobubbles (NBs) were used as contrast agents for molecular imaging of vascular and extravascular cell surface markers, and functionalized these NBs by covalently linking to nanobody (FN3hPD-L1) targeting human (h)PDL1 to measure the expression of human PDL1 in the tumor microenvironment (TME) in vivo.

Engineered Cell‐Derived Vesicles Displaying Targeting Peptide and Functionalized with Nanocarriers for Therapeutic microRNA Delivery to Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer in Mice (Adv. Healthcare Mater. 5/2022)
Rajendran J.C. Bose,U. S. Kumar,Fernando García-Marqués,Yitian Zeng,Frezghi Habte,J. R. McCarthy,Sharon J. Pitteri,Tarik F. Massoud,Ramasamy Paulmurugan +8 more
TL;DR: Bose et al. as discussed by the authors used extracellular vesicles (eEVs) to display tumor specific receptor targeting peptide to achieve therapeutic effect by reprogramming cancer cells.
