Despite the previous article on technology adoption and the importance of users’ intention to use various technologies in healthcare, users’ acceptance of queue management solutions (QMS) has rarely been measured. The key driver for this article is to evaluate the constructs that have an influence on the acceptance of QMS in the healthcare domain. To achieve this purpose, this article proposes an integrated model based on the integration of various constructs extracted from different theoretical models, including the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT), technology acceptance model (TAM), and social cognitive theory (SCT) along with trust and innovativeness as external factors. The data were collected using an online questionnaire survey from 242 healthcare professionals. The structural equation modeling technique has been employed to validate the model. In general, the results exposed that the suggested model has explained 66.5% of the total variance in the behavioral intention to use QMS. The proposed model is believed to be helpful in exploring the acceptance of other information technologies in the healthcare domain, and the results can provide valuable knowledge to managers and decision-makers in healthcare organizations. 

Toward an Integrated Model for Examining the Factors Affecting the Acceptance of Queue Management Solutions in Healthcare

The Community Request Queue Management System for Local Government Unit of Cabanatuan City aimed to give solutions to the following struggles of Barangay officials: pen and paper storage management, complicated retrieval of records, and compromised set up due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The system went through the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, namely: Stage 1 – Requirement Analysis; Stage 2 – System Design; Stage 3 – Development; Stage 4 – Testing; Stage 5 – Deployment; and Stage 6 - Maintenance. The system took ten months to design and develop. Different softwares were used for the development of the user and admin interface using programming languages, which are HTML, Java, and PHP. For the development of the database, MySQL was utilized. It has been strongly agreed by Barangay Officials and users based on the following criteria: functionality, usability, efficiency, portability, reliability, and security. The system gave the barangay officials a modern, convenient, and efficient way of performing their services. It lessened the people coming in and out in the barangay hall, thus resulting in the adherence to the COVID-19 protocols. The Community Request Queue Management System for Local Government Unit of Cabanatuan City provided the Sumacab Sur Citizens an alternative way of submitting inquiries, filing complaints and requesting documents. The Barangay Personnel were able to produce printed requested documents and give their response via e-mail.

The primary goal of this research work is to develop a smartphone application that allows parents to learn about their children’s vaccination information and keep track of their immunization schedule. Parents can log in with their credentials and upload information about their children. Appointments with paediatricians may be scheduled using the mobile application’s real-time scheduling algorithm to get back the confirmation from the doctor. Further, a mobile a vaccination alert will be sent to the parents via the mobile application notification. Doctors can also know the child details and appointment details in their portal and Parents will be informed about their children’s vaccination details from their portal. The developed mobile application is simple and user friendly.

Token Management System is used to manage crowds / queues efficiently by issuing tokens in customer-facing businesses and departments. Since time plays a significant role in human life, the main objective of this project is to reduce the wait time for customers and make their service smooth. Token Management system is a public initiative to help every enterprise publish their calendar of resources (people, counters, meeting rooms, interviews rooms, queues etc) along with their available capacity and time slots for the public to take a token. They can book their own appointment by their name and receive a token online (no OTP, email or mobile number is mandatory).This will help avoid unwanted queues and waiting time for the public. It also brings significant discipline and saves a lot of time which when put together saves billions of hours every day. Key features for an organization: Organization registration, publishing services, token prefix and suffix, time-zone, working hours, slot timing, number of slots and seats for each slot, tracking the appointment list for each queue by date/time and option to update status as completed, cancelled or now show up. It will also include making announcements that will appear to the public, options to support bulk mailing and options to enable email and mobile as mandatory.

The article discusses the concepts of Queue Management Systems for Hospitals, Satellite Networks Based on Traffic Prediction, using Deep Neural Networks (DNN). Managing high patient loads in tertiary care hospitals represents a significant challenge in streamlining health service delivery. At several hospital service locations, including the registration, lab, and bill payment counters, patients must frequently wait in line. In these circumstances, Queue Management Systems (QMS) offer a practical patient management option. Satellite Internet the Adaptive Random Early Detection (ARED) queue management algorithm is proposed to be improved by traffic prediction based on a dynamic triple exponential smoothing model, smoothing coefficient optimization of the model using a differential evolutionary algorithm, and a cubic function based on traffic prediction. Customers and the administrative staff of the company can use a queue management system that uses the Open-CV platform and CNN algorithm for image processing, together with real-time person detection and people count recording. This essay also discusses several techniques in relation to their applications. With services that have medium to lengthy waiting periods, the proposed method seeks to reduce customer discontent. A Brief Review on Queue Management Systems for different Applications

In many public and private sectors that provide services there are physical queues. Waiting in the queue can affect the clients experience and can exhaust them as well. On the other hand, idle time in many sectors of valuable resources, such as, healthcare sectors, can be expensive. In this paper we aim to enhance the clients experience when they are looking for non critical services. The paper suggests an approach for appointments using queue management system. The customers in the queue are divided into several priority classes that is considered in computing the expected waiting time. To show the efficiency of the suggested approach, we applied it on healthcare vaccination system.
