Effect of aging on gender differences in neural control of heart rate.
TL;DR: It is concluded that middle-aged women and men have a more dominant parasympathetic and sympathetic regulation of heart rate, respectively, whereas a significant time delay for the disappearance of sympathetic dominance occurs in men.

TL;DR: The OSTA index, a simple and free risk assessment tool, can be used to estimate the prevalence of low QUS values in Asian women and may help to increase awareness and prevention of low bone mineral density.

Community-based survey of low quantitative ultrasound values of calcaneus in Taiwan.
TL;DR: This survey showed that age-related decreases in calcaneal ultrasonometry, indicating prevalence of low QUS values, were more obvious in female than male subjects, and this is approximately equivalent to the lifetime risk of fracture at the hip, spine, or distal forearm in Caucasian women.
