TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated public perceptions regarding the acceptance, use, and purchasing of carbon dioxide (CO2)-derived products through an online quantitative survey and concluded that the public will be in favour of CO2-derived products and willing to buy them if the involved stakeholders do their part in delivering a safe product at a comparable quality and price to existing ones.
The AquaSPICE Industrial Symbiosis Enabling Platform
Athanasios Angelis-Dimakis,Samuel Earnshaw,Panagiotis Dedousis,Antonia Vyrkou,Tryfonas Pieri,George Arampatzis +5 more
TL;DR: The AquaSPICE platform enables industrial symbiosis by facilitating one-to-one waste reuse value chains through a three-step process: mapping waste sources and sinks, matching them based on technical criteria, and identifying business models for opportunity exploitation.
Holistic Assessment of Carbon Capture and Utilization Value Chains
Tryfonas Pieri,Alexandros Nikitas,Arturo Castillo-Castillo,Athanasios Angelis-Dimakis +3 more
- 25 Sep 2018
TL;DR: The objective of this contribution is to present the most important studies that are related to the individual stages of CCU and to perform a critical review of the major existing methods, algorithms and tools that focus on the simulation or optimization ofCCU value chains.
