TL;DR: This work investigated how many crypt apoptotic bodies could be identified in histologically normal ileal biopsies from healthy subjects (native intestines, no bone marrow transplant) who underwent screening colonoscopy and had ILEal biopsy to confirm complete Colonoscopy.
