Near infrared and the inner regions of protoplanetary disks
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the puffed-up inner disk model for explaining the near-IR excess radiation from Herbig Ae/Be stars and showed that a compact ($sim$ 10 AU) tenuous dusty halo around the disk inner regions contains enough dust to readily explain the observations.

TL;DR: The Vera C. Rubin Legacy Survey of Space and Time holds the potential to revolutionize time domain astrophysics, reaching completely unexplored areas of the Universe and mapping variability time scales from minutes to a decade as discussed by the authors .

Circumstellar Dust in Symbiotic Miras during Obscuration Events
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a study of circumstellar dust properties in symbiotic Miras RX Pup, V835 Cen, RR Tel and R Aqr which show obscuration events during the observed time intervals.

Dust around the Cool Component of D-Type Symbiotic Binaries
TL;DR: In this article, the properties of the dust in symbiotic Miras were investigated by using long-term near-IR photometry and colour indices and the DUSTY code was used to solve the radiative transfer in order to determine the dust temperature and its properties in each particular case.

RR Tel: Determination of Dust Properties during Minimum Obscuration
TL;DR: In this article, a two-component model consisting of an optically thin circellar dust shell and optically thick dust outside the line of sight in some kind of a flattened geometry was proposed, which is responsible for most of the observed dust thermal emission.
