The role of pullulan and pectin in the uptake of Cd 2+ and Ni 2+ ions by Aureobasidium pullulans
TL;DR: In this article, three yeast-like strains of Aureobasidium pullulans that efficiently remove heavy metal ions from aqueous solution were studied, and the results showed that pullulan was better as a protective sub- stance inhibiting penetration of heavy metals into the cells.
