The impact of the variation of imaging parameters on the robustness of Computed Tomography radiomic features: A review.
Reza Reiazi,Engy Abbas,Petra Famiyeh,Aria Rezaie,Jennifer Y. Y. Kwan,Tirth Patel,Scott V. Bratman,Tony Tadic,Fei-Fei Liu,Benjamin Haibe-Kains +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the impact of imaging parameters on the robustness of radiomic features is presented, highlighting that most of the imaging parameters are disruptive parameters, and shape along with First order statistics were reported as the most robust radiomic feature against variation in imaging parameters.

Automated detection of dental artifacts for large-scale radiomic analysis in radiation oncology.
Colin Arrowsmith,Reza Reiazi,Reza Reiazi,Mattea Welch,Michal Kazmierski,Tirth Patel,Aria Rezaie,Tony Tadic,Tony Tadic,Scott V. Bratman,Scott V. Bratman,Benjamin Haibe-Kains +11 more
TL;DR: Removing radiomic features or CT slices containing DAs could reduce the unwanted correlations between the location of DAs and radiomic Features, an important step towards creating effective radiomic models for use in clinical radiation oncology.

The Impact of the Variation of Imaging Factors on the Robustness of Computed Tomography Radiomic Features: A Review
Reza Reiazi,Reza Reiazi,Engy Abbas,Petra Famiyeh,Petra Famiyeh,Aria Rezaie,Jennifer Y. Y. Kwan,Tirth Patel,Scott V. Bratman,Scott V. Bratman,Tony Tadic,Tony Tadic,Fei-Fei Liu,Fei-Fei Liu,Benjamin Haibe-Kains +14 more
TL;DR: This review highlighted that the reconstruction algorithm was the most reproducible factor and shape along with Intensity histogram (IH) were the most robust radiomic features against variation in imaging parameters.
Evaluation of dosimetric predictors of toxicity after IMRT with concurrent chemotherapy for anal cancer.
Jelena Lukovic,Ali Hosni,Amy Liu,J. Chen,Tony Tadic,Tirth Patel,K. Li,K. Han,Patricia Lindsay,Tim Craig,James Brierley,Aisling Barry,R. K Y Wong,Jolie Ringash,Laura A. Dawson,J. Kim +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the impact of dosimetric parameters on acute and late toxicity for patients with anal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) treated with image-guided intensity modulated radiation therapy (IG-IMRT) and concurrent chemotherapy was investigated.

A hybrid algorithm for dental artifact detection in large computed tomography datasets
Colin Arrowsmith,Reza Reiazi,Mattea Welch,Michal Kazmierski,Tirth Patel,Aria Rezaie,Tony Tadic,Scott V. Bratman,Benjamin Haibe-Kains +8 more
TL;DR: This work introduces a new tool to detect the location and magnitude of DAs in CT images based on a combination of deep learning and conventional image processing algorithms and showed that only when strong DAs were present, the proximity of the tumour to the mouth was highly correlated with specific radiomic features.
