TL;DR: In this paper, a three-cycle multi-millijoule pulse amplifier with 318 W power was reported. But this was achieved by compressing pulses of a Yb-fiber chirped pulse amplifier in a 6 m long stretched flexible hollow fiber.

TL;DR: In this article, a novel approach for temporal contrast enhancement of energetic laserpulses by filtered SPM broadened spectra was presented, which is applicable to a wide range of laser parameters and poses a highly efficient alternative to existing contrastenhancement methods.
