TL;DR: In this paper , a series of copper, nickel and zinc complexes, [CuClL] (1), [CuBrL], [NiL2] (3), [ZnL2], (4) and 'Zn2I2L2' (5), where L is the deprotonated form of 4-chloro-2-((pyridin-2ylmethylene)amino)phenol, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV-Vis spectra.
