Cognition, Motor Behavior, and the Assessment of Atypical Aging
Timothy A. Salthouse
- 01 Jan 1990
TL;DR: No attempt is made to review or summarize the major points raised in the previous chapters, but instead these topics are elaborated by exploring possible linkages across areas and by considering several implications of the focus on atypical aging.

An empirical approach to the timing limitations of the raster-scan CRT
TL;DR: The results suggest that the minimum nominal time interval used should be 20 msec to ensure a maximally reliable stimulus presentation and that successive nominal time intervals should be separated by at least 30 msec.

Stimulus Registration and Interpretation
Timothy A. Salthouse
- 01 Jan 1982
TL;DR: In this paper, a brief statement as to the type of topics that will, and will not, be considered in the present context is made, and it is worth noting that a disproportionate amount of the research on perceptual processes has focused on vision rather than any of the other sense modalities.

Abstract: Higher Order Invariance and Age Comparisons in Depression, Neuroticism, and Anxiety
TL;DR: The higher-order invariance conception is applied to prominent measures of depression, neuroticism, and anxiety across age-defined subgroups rather than across repeatedly-measured individuals, indicating that age differences in depression, anxiety and neuroticism cannot be expressed simply as functions of changes in the constructs.
