Simultaneous processing of verbal and spatial information
TL;DR: It was concluded that not only was the selective interference phenomenon a rather general effect but that, since it was unaffected by changes in the nature of the component tasks, it was probably caused by central processing capacity limitations rather than by competition for a specific structural mechanism.
An individual difference analysis of false recognition.
TL;DR: Although measures of veridical memory were significantly correlated across the different types of stimulus material, false recognition rates only had modest and generally not significant correlations, which suggests that the tendency to produce false recognitions may be a task-specific characteristic of individuals.
