Interaction between the Northeastern Boundary of Sgr A East and Giant Molecular Clouds: Excitation Mechanisms of the H2 Emission
Sungho Lee,Soojong Pak,Christopher J. Davis,Robeson M. Herrnstein,Thomas R. Geballe,Paul T. P. Ho,J. Craig Wheeler +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors detected the v = 1 0 S(1) (λ = 2.1218 μm) and v = 2 1 S (1)(λ= 2.2477 µm) lines of H2 in a region between the northeastern boundary of Sgr A East and the giant molecular cloud (GMC) M-0.02 -0.07, in the Galactic centre.

Temporal variation of the 3-micron hydrocarbon emissions at the 8-micron north polar hot spot of Jupiter: Comparison with solar wind activity
S. J. Kim,C.K. Sim,Thomas R. Geballe,Yuk L. Yung,Steve Miller,Thomas K. Greathouse,Sungho Lee,C. Tao +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors obtained Gemini/GNIRS 3.3-3.4-μm spectra of Jupiter at 65o North latitude over a range of longitudes roughly centered on the 8μm CH4 north polar hot spot (8CNPHS).

A JWST Survey for Planetary Mass Brown Dwarfs in IC 348
Kevin Luhman,C. Alves de Oliveira,Isabelle Baraffe,G. Chabrier,Thomas R. Geballe,R. J. Parker,Y. J. Pendleton,Pascal Tremblin +7 more
TL;DR: We have detected the 3.4 μm hydrocarbon feature in the atmospheres of two young brown dwarfs in the star-forming cluster IC 348. This is the first detection of this feature outside of the solar system.

Possible detection of V4334 Sgr (Sakurai's Object) at 450 and 850 μm
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the possible detection of V4334 Sgr (Sakurai's Object) at 450 and 850μm with SCUBA on the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope.
Search for H$_3^+$ isotopologues toward CRL 2136 IRS 1
Miwa Goto,Thomas R. Geballe,Jorma Harju,Jorma Harju,Paola Caselli,Olli Sipilä,Karl M. Menten,Tomonori Usuda +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the relative abundances of H$2$D$+$ and D$_3^+$ in the cold outer envelope of the hot core CRL 2136 IRS 1 were measured using the spectrographs CRIRES, iSHELL at IRTF, and EXES on board SOFIA.
