In-source laser spectroscopy developments at TRILIS--towards spectroscopy on actinium and scandium
Sebastian Raeder,M. Dombsky,H. Heggen,Jens Lassen,Thomas Quenzel,Marica Sjödin,A. Teigelhöfer,Klaus Wendt +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present spectroscopic studies on bound states, Rydberg states and autoionizing resonances on scandium using the existing offline capabilities of RILIS solid state laser system.

Charge Delocalization and Vibronic Couplings in Quadrupolar Squaraine Dyes.
Daniel Timmer,Fulu Zheng,Moritz Gittinger,Thomas Quenzel,Daniel C. Lünemann,Katrin Winte,Yu Zhang,Mohamed Madjet,Jennifer Zablocki,Arne Lützen,Jin-Hui Zhong,Antonietta De Sio,Thomas Frauenheim,Sergei Tretiak,Christoph Lienau +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors combine time-resolved vibrational spectroscopy, two-dimensional electronic and quantum-chemical simulations to test and rationalize these predictions for nonaggregated molecules and find small Huang-Rhys factors below 0.01 for the high frequency, 1500 cm-1 modes in particular, as well as a noticeable reduction for those of lower frequency modes in general for the electronic S0 → S1 transition.

Plasmon mediated coherent population oscillations in molecular aggregates
Daniel Timmer,Moritz Gittinger,Thomas Quenzel,S. Stephan,Yu Zhang,Marvin F. Schumacher,Arne Lützen,Martin Silies,Sergei Tretiak,Jin-Hui Zhong,Antonietta De Sio,Christoph Lienau +11 more
TL;DR: Researchers use ultrafast spectroscopy to study quantum dynamics of excitons coupled to plasmonic fields in gold nanoslit arrays, observing coherent Rabi oscillations and plasmon-driven exciton population transfer at room temperature.
Plasmon-Enhanced Exciton Delocalization in Squaraine-Type Molecular Aggregates.
Thomas Quenzel,Daniel Timmer,Moritz Gittinger,Jennifer Zablocki,Fulu Zheng,Manuela Schiek,Arne Lützen,Thomas Frauenheim,Sergei Tretiak,Martin Silies,Jin-Hui Zhong,Antonietta De Sio,Christoph Lienau +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors demonstrate that the exciton coherence length of squaraine aggregates can be increased from 10 to 24 molecular units at room temperature when preparing the aggregated thin film on a metallic rather than a dielectric substrate.

Yttrium ionization scheme development for Ti:Sa laser based RILIS
A. Teigelhöfer,A. Teigelhöfer,Jens Lassen,Z. Abboud,Z. Abboud,Pierre Bricault,H. Heggen,H. Heggen,Peter Kunz,Ruohong Li,Thomas Quenzel,Sebastian Raeder +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an off-line development towards an efficient ionization scheme for yttrium is presented based on the all solid state laser system TRIUMF's RILIS (TRILIS) is using, and several continuous wavelength scans have been performed to compare different nonresonant ionization schemes and to identify suitable Rydberg or autoionizing states for resonant ionisation schemes.
