Asymmetric Organocatalytic Benzylation of α,β‐Unsaturated Aldehydes with Toluenes
TL;DR: In this article, a direct organocatalytic enantioselective benzylation by using toluenes and α,β-unsaturated aldehydes is presented.

Exploring Catalysis inside Self-assembled Supramolecular Containers.
TL;DR: The first steps in this exciting interdisciplinary field of research are described, interested in applying supramolecular host systems as catalysts for challenging transformations.

Iminium Catalysis Inside a Self-Assembled Supramolecular Capsule
Thomas M. Bräuer
- 01 Jan 2018
TL;DR: The first iminium-catalyzed reaction performed in a supramolecular assembly has been accomplished in this article, where the host was shown to have a modulation effect on the stereochemical outcome of the reaction occurring inside its cavity.

Iminium Catalysis inside a Self-Assembled Supramolecular Capsule: Modulation of Enantiomeric Excess.
TL;DR: The noncovalent combination of a supramolecular host with iminium organocatalysis is described and the products formed differ up to 92 % ee from the control experiments without added host.
