Three-dimensional imaging of magnetic fields with polarized neutrons
Nikolay Kardjilov,Ingo Manke,Markus Strobl,André Hilger,Wolfgang Treimer,Michael Meissner,Thomas Krist,John Banhart +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors introduced a new experimental method yielding two-and three-dimensional images that represent changes of the quantum-mechanical spin state of neutrons caused by magnetic fields in and around bulk objects.
Wide angle NSE: the multidetector spectrometer SPAN at BENSC
TL;DR: In this paper, a remanent supermirror is used as an analyzer to preserve the symmetry of the magnetic field in order to perform NSE measurements over a particularly large angular range.

Substrate stress induced magnetic and nonmagnetic structural correlations in Fe Si multilayers
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of substrate bias voltage on the growth kinetics of sequential layers of super-mirrors was investigated. And the importance of substrate biasing in affecting the structural correlation was highlighted.

Specular and off-specular scattering with polarization and polarization analysis on reflectometer V6 at BER II, HZB
TL;DR: In this paper, the enhanced capabilities of the neutron reflectometer V6 at the research reactor BER II at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin fur Materialien und Energie (HZB) in investigating magnetic thin films and multilayers are reported.

Polarized neutron reflectivity of FeCoV/Ti multilayers
TL;DR: In this paper, a spin valve multilayers consisting of magnetically hard and soft FeCoV layers separated by Ti spacer layers were investigated for their interface and magnetic properties, and the chemical structure and interface roughness were characterized by measuring X-ray reflectivity.
