Sigmar Stelzner,Gunter Hellmich,Anja Sims,Thomas Kittner,Eric Puffer,Joerg Zimmer,Dorothea Bleyl,Helmut Witzigmann +7 more
TL;DR: ELAPE results in lower local recurrence rates as compared with conventional APE, and the extralevator approach should be the procedure of choice for advanced low rectal cancer not amenable to sphincter preserving procedures.

Simultaneous Occurrence of Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Eosinophilic Granuloma: A Potential Pitfall in Positron Emission Tomography Imaging
Ralph Naumann,Bettina Beuthien-Baumann,Rainer Fischer,Thomas Kittner,J. Bredow,Joachim Kropp,Detlef Ockert,Gerhard Ehninger +7 more
TL;DR: Positron emission tomography showed increased [18F]FDG uptake both in lymphoma manifestations and in the granuloma, and post-treatment examination showed a positive PET lesion in the mediastinal residual mass, which was interpreted as viable lymphoma.
