Polymorphisms in DNA repair gene XRCC1 and increased genetic susceptibility to breast cancer.
TL;DR: Preliminary results based on the analysis of functionally relevant polymorphisms in XRCC1 low penetrance gene may provide a better model that would exhibit additive effects on individual susceptibility to breast cancer.

DNA repair gene XRCC1 polymorphisms in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia
TL;DR: An increased risk of ALL among children with XRCC1 codons 194 and 399 variant genotypes is shown through the use of PCR and RFLP and further confirmed by DNA sequencing.

Role of xenobiotic metabolizing gene polymorphisms in breast cancer susceptibility and treatment outcome.
TL;DR: Combined genotype analysis revealed the CYP1A1 m2 ValVal-GSTM1 homozygous null deletion genotype combinations to be associated with the highest risk of breast cancer (OR=10.3, 95% CI=1.2-86.1); however, there was a lack of association between GSTM1 null deletion and breast cancer.

Germline genetic polymorphisms of CYP1A1, GSTM1 and GSTT1 genes in Indian cervical cancer: Associations with tumor progression, age and human papillomavirus infection
Thomas Joseph,Priya Chacko,Remani Wesley,P Jayaprakash,Francis V. James,M. Radhakrishna Pillai +5 more
TL;DR: Polymorphisms in the CYP1A1, GSTM1 and GSTT1 genes may render women more susceptible to the development of cervical cancer, according to this case-control study.

TL;DR: The DREAM challenge as mentioned in this paper used in-vitro experimental intMEMOIR recordings and in-silico data for a C.elegans lineage tree and a Mus musculus tree of 10,000 cells.
