TL;DR: Sleep disturbances, including insomnia, hypersomnia and delayed sleep phase, are frequent in SCZ and BD, and associated with more severe clinical symptomatology across diagnostic groups, which suggests that sleep disturbance is a clinically relevant transdiagnostic phenomenon.
