Low threshold current density of InAs quantum dash laser on InP (100) through optimizing double cap technique
Dayong Zhou,Rozenn Piron,Madhoussoudhana Dontabactouny,Olivier Dehaese,Frédéric Grillot,Thomas Batte,Karine Tavernier,Jacky Even,Slimane Loualiche +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the uniformity improvement of InAs quantum dashes (QDHs) grown by molecular beam epitaxy on InP (100) through optimizing double cap technique was reported.

High refractive index contrast in a photosensitive polymer and waveguide photo-printing demonstration
Dominique Bosc,Philippe Grosso,Isabelle Hardy,Imane Assaı̈d,Thomas Batte,Severine Haesaert,Bruno Vinouze +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the realisation and performances of a photo-printed non-birefringent waveguide in an intrinsically photosensitive polymer film have been demonstrated, where the photo-induced index contrast in a film is significantly improved from 1.5 × 10−2 (previous works) up to 2.5×10−2 at 1550 nm.

Nondegenerate Four-Wave Mixing in a Dual-Mode Injection-Locked InAs/InP(100) Nanostructure Laser
Cheng Wang,Frédéric Grillot,Fan-Yi Lin,Ivan Aldaya,Thomas Batte,Christophe Gosset,Etienne Decerle,Jacky Even +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the non-degenerate four-wave mixing (NDFWM) characteristics in a quantum-dot Fabry-Perot laser were investigated, employing the dual-mode injection-locking technique.
