Trifluoromethylalkenes in cycloaddition reactions
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of CF3-group on both the activation of the double bond and the stereochemistry of the cycloaddition has been evaluated, and new CF3substituted mono-and polycyclic compounds 4 and 7, highly functionalized isoxazolidines 18, 19, 22 and 23 and pyrrolidines 12, 13 and 16 have been prepared.

Sulfanyl- and selanyldifluoromethylphosphonates as a source of phosphonodifluoromethyl radicals and their addition onto alkenes.
TL;DR: Treatment of sulfanyldichloromethylphosphonates by 3HF.NEt3 in the presence of zinc bromide produces the corresponding sulfanyl- and selanyldifluorophosphonate and generation of phosphonodifluors from such precursors in the absence of alkenes produces the expected adducts.
45
Scope and limitations of the Julia–Kocienski reaction with fluorinated sulfonylesters
TL;DR: In this article, the Julia-Kocienski reaction between fluorinated arylsulfone and ketones was studied and the corresponding fluoroalkenes were isolated in moderate to good yields from β- and δ-substituted cyclic ketones.

TL;DR: In this article, the ability of 5-(methacryloyloxy)pentylphosphonic acid (PPA) to adhere to hydroxyapatite was demonstrated using 31 P CP-MAS NMR spectroscopy, and copolymerization with N, N ′-diethyl-1,3-bis(acrylamido)propane (DEBAAP) was investigated with photo differential scanning calorimetry.

Synthesis of 2,3-trans disubstituted tetrahydrofurans through sequential xanthate radical addition-substitution reactions
TL;DR: From 2,3-dihydrofuran derivatives, the displacement of the resulting anomeric xanthates with various nucleophiles in the presence of Lewis acid allowed the formation of new carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bonds.
