TL;DR: Smears of the aspirates from 16 of the 20 cases of adenolymphoma (Warthin's tumor) of the salivary glands contained mast cells associated with monolayered sheets of oncocytes, which should be considered supportive evidence of an FNA diagnosis.

Three year follow-up of benign fine-needle aspiration biopsies of the breast.
TL;DR: Benign fine-needle aspiration, taken in context, is a reasonable alternative to open biopsy and has a false-negative rate comparable to that for frozen section or routine histologic examination of benign surgical breast biopsies.
