Sarcoma-180 cells and human colorectal tumor cells under in vitro hypoxic conditions are more sensitive to mitomycin C and carboquone.
TL;DR: As colorectal cancer is less sensitive than other tissues to various chemotherapeutic agents, it is recommended that MMC and CQ be prescribed to treat patients with these malignant lesions.

TL;DR: Preoperative chemotherapy with cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil was found to effectively treat far advanced gastric cancer invading the pancreas forming a huge mass with regional and distant lymph node metastases, which led to a substantially increased survival.
