Suppressor of cytokine signalling-1 induces significant preclinical antitumor effect in malignant melanoma cells.
Naoko Tagami-Nagata,Satoshi Serada,Minoru Fujimoto,Atsushi Tanemura,Rie Nakatsuka,Tomoharu Ohkawara,Hiroyuki Murota,Tadamitsu Kishimoto,Ichiro Katayama,Tetsuji Naka +9 more
TL;DR: It is indicated that the antiproliferative effect of SOCS‐1 correlated not only with decreased levels of the activation of signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT)3 but also with increased levels of p53 expression and phosphorylation, indicating the potential for clinical use of SOCs‐1 for melanoma treatment.

Large-scale proteome analysis of abscisic acid and ABSCISIC ACID INSENSITIVE3-dependent proteins related to desiccation tolerance in Physcomitrella patens
Izumi Yotsui,Satoshi Serada,Tetsuji Naka,Masashi Saruhashi,Teruaki Taji,Takahisa Hayashi,Ralph S. Quatrano,Yoichi Sakata +7 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the regulatory machinery of ABA- and ABI3-mediated gene expression for desiccation tolerance might have evolved in ancestral land plants before the separation of bryophytes and vascular plants.

Anti-Glypican-1 Antibody-drug Conjugate as Potential Therapy Against Tumor Cells and Tumor Vasculature For Glypican-1-Positive Cholangiocarcinoma
Keiichiro Yokota,Satoshi Serada,Shigehiro Tsujii,Keisuke Toya,Tsuyoshi Takahashi,Takashi Matsunaga,Minoru Fujimoto,Sunao Uemura,Tsutomu Namikawa,Ichiro Murakami,Shogo Kobayashi,Hidetoshi Eguchi,Yuichiro Doki,Kazuhiro Hanazaki,Tetsuji Naka +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the efficacy and safety of GPC1-targeted ADC conjugating anti-GPC1 mAb possessing high internalization activity with monomethyl auristatin F (MMAF) was demonstrated.

Novel stat function-regulatory protein
Tadamitsu Kishimoto,Tetsuji Naka +1 more
- 23 Oct 1997
TL;DR: A protein regulating the functions of STAT proteins in the JAK/STAT signal transmission system in mammals characterized by being induced by STAT3 or STAT6, inhibiting the tyrosine phosphorylation of gp130 and STAT3 and having an SH2 region is described in this paper.

Peripheral blood T lymphocytes and basophils, freshly isolated from house-dust-mite-sensitive patients, produce interleukin-4 in response to allergen-specific stimulation.
Hiroshi Ochi,Toshio Tanaka,Yoshinori Katada,Tetsuji Naka,Masakazu Aitani,Shoji Hashimoto,Keiji Maeda,Kyoichiro Toyoshima,Tsuyoshi Igarashi,Masaki Suemura,Tadamitsu Kishimoto +10 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that allergen-specific IL-4-producing cells, lymphocytes and basophils, are generated in vivo in allergic patients and also that there exist characteristic differences between lymphocyte and Basophils related to the in vivo source of IL- 4.
