TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of SUM pre-treatment against CCL4-induced hepatotoxicity in rats was examined, and it was shown that at doses 0.1, 0.3 and 1.3 µmg/kg, SUM significantly reduced the liver toxicity and also reversed the changes of MPO, MDA, SOD and CAT, IL-1β and TNF-α levels.
