Metabolic effects of testosterone replacement therapy on hypogonadal men with type 2 diabetes mellitus: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
TL;DR: In this article, the metabolic effects of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on hypogonadal men with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) were evaluated using a literature search performed using the Cochrane Library, EMBASE and PubMed.

Effect of cyclic hydrodynamic pressure-induced proliferation of human bladder smooth muscle through Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1, mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 1/2 and extracellular regulated protein kinases 1/2
TL;DR: The role of Ras‐related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1, mitogen‐activated protein kinase kinase1/2 and extracellular regulated protein kinases 1/2 in the cyclic hydrodynamic pressure‐induced proliferation of human bladder smooth muscle cells is examined.

Increased proliferation of human bladder smooth muscle cells is mediated by physiological cyclic stretch via the PI3K‑SGK1‑Kv1.3 pathway
Ye Tian,Xuan Yue,Deyi Luo,Romel Wazir,Jianzhong Wang,Tao Wu,Lin Chen,Bang-hua Liao,Kunjie Wang +8 more
TL;DR: Results markedly indicate that cyclic stretch induces the proliferation of HBSMCs and the PI3K‑SGK1‑Kv1.3 pathway is involved in this process, either fully or at least partially, rather than its related pathway, PI3 K‑Akt.
Skp2-mediated degradation of p27 regulates cell cycle progression in compressed human bladder smooth muscle cells
TL;DR: This is the first report on the functional importance of Skp2 in cyclic hydrodynamic pressure stimulated HBSMC proliferation and silencing abolished increases in cell proliferation induced by pressure.

A new droplet digital PCR assay: improving detection of paucibacillary smear-negative pulmonary tuberculosis.
Zhenzhen Zhao,Tao Wu,Minjin Wang,Xiaojuan Chen,Tangyuheng Liu,Yanjun Si,Yanhong Zhou,Binwu Ying +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors presented a novel Droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) for rapid and sensitive identification of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) in respiratory specimens from suspected PTB cases using two different locations within IS6110.
