A new data-aided synchronization scheme for FBMC-OQAM systems
Liu Xiadong,Daiming Qu,Tao Jiang +2 more
- 01 Oct 2016
TL;DR: A new data-aided timing and CFO synchronization scheme is proposed, that exploits the conjugate-symmetry property of a properly designed training sequence and can achieve timing and frequency synchronization independently in steps with relatively lower implementation complexity.

An improved spectrum management scheme for OFDMA femtocell networks
Mingjie Feng,Da Chen,Zhiqiang Wang,Tao Jiang,Daiming Qu +4 more
- 26 Nov 2012
TL;DR: This paper considers the methods of spectrum allocation and spectrum sharing to improve the capacity performance of femtocell networks and proposes a spectrum sharing scheme that deals with the problem of insufficient channels for femtocells.

Configurations and Diagnosis for Ultra-Dense Heterogeneous Networks: From Empirical Measurements to Technical Solutions
TL;DR: This article investigates the fine-grained traffic patterns of mobile users by analyzing the network data containing millions of subscribers and covering thousands of cells in a large metropolitan area, and proposes a heterogeneity-aware scheme that takes into account the disparity of user mobility behaviors and geospatial properties among small cells.
Polar Codes With Repeating Bits and the Construction by Cluster Pairwise Error Probability
Tao Wang,Daiming Qu,Tao Jiang +2 more
TL;DR: A polar code with repeating bits (RB polar code), where a part of frozen bits only repeat their preceding information bits, is proposed and outperform their counterparts of CRC-concatenated polar codes over various codeword lengths, code rates, and puncturing patterns.
Synergistic conversion of iron ore sintering dust and waste biochar to produce direct reduction iron and syngas: Gasification, reduction behavior and thermodynamic analysis
Lin Wang,Yongbin Yang,Yang Ou,Peiyao Tang,Chen Liu,Qiang Zhong,Yan Zhang,Lingyun Yi,Qian Li,Zhu-cheng Huang,Tao Jiang +10 more
TL;DR: This study converts iron ore sintering dust and waste biochar into direct reduced iron and syngas via synergistic conversion, achieving a 92.4% metallization ratio and increasing CO and CH4 yields by 633.8% and 41.5% respectively.
