Developing the MTO Formalism
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a generalization of the LMTO-ASA method to the Nth order muffin-tin orbital (NMTO) method without increasing the size of the basis set and without complicating the formalism.
Correlation-driven non-trivial phases in single bi-layer Kagome intermetallics
Aabhaas V. Mallik,Adhip Agarwala,Tanusri Saha-Dasgupta +2 more
- 30 Jun 2023
TL;DR: In this article , the effect of strong electron-electron interactions on a Chern metal with topologically non-trivial bands at the Fermi energy was investigated. And the authors showed that the topology of the Chern metal can realize fractional Chern insulator states in the presence of local repulsive interactions.
Centrosymmetric-noncentrosymmetric Structural Phase Transition in Quasi one-dimensional compound, (TaSe$_4$)$_3$I
Arnab Bera,Samir Rom,Suman Pradhan,Satyabrata Bera,Sk Kalimuddin,Tanusri Saha-Dasgupta,Mintu Mondal +6 more
- 11 Apr 2023
TL;DR: In this paper, a structural phase transition of the trimerized phase at temperature, $T~\simeq$~145~K using Raman scattering, specific heat, and electrical transport measurements is reported.
Development of Triboelectroceutical Fabrics for Potential Applications in Self-Sanitizing Personal Protective Equipment
Sayan Bayan,Sayan Bayan,Aniruddha Adhikari,Uttam Pal,Ria Ghosh,Susmita Mondal,Soumendra Darbar,Tanusri Saha-Dasgupta,Samit K. Ray,Samit K. Ray,Samir Kumar Pal +10 more
- 19 Jul 2021
TL;DR: The present work provides the rationale to consider the studied TECF, or other materials with comparable properties, as a material of choice for the development of self-sanitizing PPE in the fight against microbial infections including COVID-19.
Extraction behavior of yttrium with Aliquat336 from nitrate and thiocyanate media: A microscopic view from computational analysis
TL;DR: In this article, a microscopic analysis employing computational tools has been utilized to offer an explanation for the behavior of yttrium in thiocyanate and nitrate media with quaternary amine type of extractant Aliquat336.
