The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, comprising: - the provision of a compound of formula (I): CF3-CH2-CHClBr (I); - the dehydrobromination of the compound of formula (I) to form 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene. The invention also relates to a composition comprising 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and to the compound of formula (I) as well as to a process for the preparation of the compound of formula (I).

Process for the preparation of 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene

Disclosed is a method for reducing carbon deposits on a catalyst in the utilization of HFC-23 as a resource. Said utilization as a resource is achieved by using HFC-23 and halogenated hydrocarbons for a fluorine-chlorine exchange reaction. The catalyst for the fluorine-chlorine exchange reaction includes a main catalyst and a precious metal. The precious metal is selected from at least one of Pt, Pd, Ru, Au or Rh, and the addition amount thereof is 0.01-2 wt%. During the fluorine-chlorine exchange reaction, hydrogen gas is introduced. The invention has advantages of good catalyst stability, long service life and the like.

Method of reducing carbon deposit on catalyst in utilization of hfc-23 as resource

The invention discloses a trifluoromethane resource utilization technology. The trifluoromethane resource utilization technology is characterized in that trifluoromethane and chlorine are transformed to chlorotrifluoromethane under effect of a catalyst, the generated chlorotrifluoromethane and ethylene or halogenated ethene are subjected to a catalytic reaction to prepare halogenated trifluoropropane; and the halogenated trifluoropropane is taken as a raw material of perfluoropropane or tetrafluoropropene. The trifluoromethane resource utilization technology has the advantages of mild reaction condition and simple process, the obtained product can be taken as the raw material for preparing a green refrigerant foaming agent perfluoropropane or tetrafluoropropene, and has important economic value.
