Palladium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Arylation of 2,3-Dihydrofuran: 1,8-Bis( dimethylamino)naphthalene as an Efficient Base.
TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction of 2,3-dihydrofuran with aryl triflate (1) in the presence of a base and a palladium catalyst was studied.
Palladium‐Catalyzed Asymmetric Hydrosilylation of 1,3‐Dienes
Jin Wook Han,Tamio Hayashi +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the palladium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrosilylation of 1,3-dienes is presented according to substrate types and chiral monophosphine ligands.
Platinum‐Catalyzed Addition of Dimethylsilylene to β‐Methyl α,β‐Unsaturated Ketones: γ‐Silylation Forming 1‐Oxa‐2‐silacyclohex‐5‐enes.
Kazuhiro Okamoto,Tamio Hayashi +1 more
TL;DR: The reaction of β-methyl α,β-unsaturated ketones with pentamethyldisilane in the presence of a platinum catalyst brought about silylation on the β -methyl group giving high yields of oxasilacyclohexenes as mentioned in this paper.
