Functional characterisation of filamentous actin probe expression in neuronal cells.
Shrujna Patel,Sandra Fok,Holly Stefen,Tamara Tomanic,Esmeralda Paric,Rosanna Herold,Merryn Brettle,Aleksandra Djordjevic,Thomas Fath +8 more
TL;DR: The results of this study demonstrate the effects that filamentous actin tracking probes can have on the axonal and dendritic compartments of neuronal cells and emphasise the care that must be taken when interpreting data from experiments using these probes.
Syntaxins 6 and 8 facilitate tau into secretory pathways.
Wei Siang Lee,Daniel C. S. Tan,Yuanyuan Deng,Annika van Hummel,Stefania Ippati,Claire Stevens,Paulina Carmona-Mora,Daryl Ariawan,Liming Hou,Holly Stefen,Tamara Tomanic,Mian Bi,Florence Tomasetig,Adam D. Martin,Thomas Fath,Stephen J. Palmer,Yazi D. Ke,Lars M. Ittner +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors established the interactome of the C-terminal tail region of tau and identified syntaxin 8 (STX8) as a mediator of Tau release from cells.
Deletion of the Actin-Associated Tropomyosin Tpm3 Leads to Reduced Cell Complexity in Cultured Hippocampal Neurons-New Insights into the Role of the C-Terminal Region of Tpm3.1.
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of truncation on the ability of Tpm31 to modulate neuronal morphogenesis was investigated in primary mouse hippocampal neurons of C57/Bl6 wild type and Bl6Tpm3flox transgenic mice.

Global gene expression analysis reveals a subtle effect of DEHP in human granulosa cell line HGrC1.
Dragana Samardzija Nenadov,Biljana Tesic,Tamara Tomanic,Marija Opačić,Bojana Stanic,Kristina Pogrmic-Majkic,Nebojsa Andric +6 more
TL;DR: High concentration of DEHP decreased the levels of ABC1A mRNA and SREBP-1 protein and prevented the upregulation of STAR, a protein involved in progesterone synthesis, in forskolin-stimulated HGrC1 cells; however, the observed changes were not sufficient to alter progestersone production in forSkolin- Stimulated H grc1 cells.

Spermatozoal Mitochondrial Dynamics Markers and Other Functionality-Related Signaling Molecules Exert Circadian-like Response to Repeated Stress of Whole Organism
Isidora M. Starovlah,Sava M Radovic Pletikosic,Tamara Tomanic,Marija L. J. Medar,Tatjana S. Kostic,Silvana A. Andric +5 more
TL;DR: The results of PCA analysis show the significant separation of repeated stress effects during the inactive/light and active/dark phases of the day, suggesting the circadian timing of molecular adaptations.
