Mixed alcohol synthesis from CO-H2 by use of KCl-promoted Mo/SiO2 catalysts.
TL;DR: In this paper, high pressure and short contact time enhanced space-time yield of mixed alcohols, i.e. 420 g (kg-catalyst)−1 h−1 at 5.0 MPa, 573 K, and W/F=1.4 g-cat catalyst h mol−1.

Selective liquid-phase oxidation of cyclopentene over MWW type titanosilicate
Peng Wu,Duangamol Nuntasri,Yueming Liu,Haihong Wu,Yongwen Jiang,Weibin Fan,Mingyuan He,Takashi Tatsumi +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the epoxidation of cyclopentene has been carried out over titanosilicate catalysts of Ti-Beta, TS-1 and Ti-MWW.

The structure and morphology control of mesoporous silica under acidic conditions
TL;DR: The synthesis and crystallization mechanism of various mesoporous molecular sieves with varying morphology have been studied by the methods such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning-electron microscope (SEM), elemental analyses and N2 adsorption-desorption.

Effects of alkali metal halides in the formation of alcohols from co and h2 over silica-supported molybdenum catalysts
TL;DR: Silica-supported molybdenum catalysts, promoted by alkali metal halides, give C1-C5 alcohols with good selectivity (up to 72% by weight of the total product, exclusive of CO2) from a CO-H2 mixture at 16 kg/cm2 and 260-300 °C as discussed by the authors.
