TL;DR: In this article, the authors present their preliminary results of the total cross sections as well as the partial cross sections of the proton-capture reaction on 90 Zr using high-resolution in-beam γ -ray spectroscopy.

TL;DR: The FRANZ facility as discussed by the authors is designed to produce the world's highest neutron intensities in the astrophysically relevant energy range between 10 keV and 1 MeV and consists of a high-intensity proton linac providing energies close to the threshold of the 7Li(p,n) reaction at Ep = 1880 keV.
Experimental cross sections of Ho 165 ( α , n ) Tm 168 and Er 166 ( α , n ) Yb 169 for optical potential studies relevant for the astrophysical γ process

TL;DR: This simulation shows how optical potentials are crucial ingredients for the prediction of nuclear reaction rates needed in simulations of the astrophysical astrophysical $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ process.
